General questions

Where is your office located?
Anywhere you are in Massachusetts or Vermont.
Do you accept insurance?
I accept private-pay clients and some insurance clients through Aetna, Optum, and Tufts.
What treatment modalities do you use?
I am a holistic practitioner, meaning I take into consideration all aspects of you, including your physical health, home life, work life, social connections, etc. My treatment modalities can include elements of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptment and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused, and Somatic Therapy. Modalities used depend on my clients’ needs.
What age ranges do you work with?
I work with adults from 18-75.
How do I set up an initial session?

Do you assign homework between sessions?
Yes, but not for every session. “Homework” is not necessarily written. It often involves practicing some of the skills/techniques we’ve discussed in session.

Appointments

What is the cancellation policy?
The session must be canceled 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, the charge for a missed session will be the full session fee for private-pay clients and $65 for clients with insurance.
How do I make an appointment?
Email is the best way to reach me, but you can also call or text. I do my best to respond within 24 hours. We will schedule our next session date and time at the end of the session.
How often will we meet?
Weekly or every other week. This depends on your goals and the level of support you need. We will continually evaluate your progress and modify goals as needed.
